American Sport Dance Games®
American Sport Dance Games® was created as an answer to what many parents, teachers, and studio owners are saying and have been since 1973.
Dance families are concerned about rising costs to travel to events and for monthly competition tuition fees. Teachers are frustrated by subjective placements at competitions. Studio owners are working harder than ever to keep students enrolled while competing with after-school programs that may appear less expensive but are not. At the same time, much of the dance studio industry has been shaped by vendors, costumes, and event expenses that do not always support the long-term health of the studio.
American Sport Dance Games® offers a different direction.
ASDG is not a traditional dance competition nor is it a tour. It is a student achievement model designed for dance studios, with no solos, no titles, and large production numbers. Costuming is limited to studio team uniforms. It is a stronger focus on measurable progress, team participation, and educational growth. The goal is to give studios a new way to recognize students, support retention, and create meaningful achievement opportunities without repeating the same competition model families and teachers are questioning.
For studio owners, ASDG is also a business opportunity. Through the Recital By Design seminars, dance studio owners can learn how American Sport Dance Games® connects to educational site-license opportunities, local event development, host compensation, and new income potential. Full details about the format, ownership opportunity, and income structure are shared through the seminar, not on the public website.
The dance studio industry does not need another version of the same thing. It needs a new model that helps studios keep students, support families, recognize progress, and build income around education instead of exhaustion.
